Today, we would like to introduce you to handmade quilted blankets that are made of multiple layers of cotton fabrics and all natural merino wool. The layers include quilted blocks made of soft Turkish Velour fabric with silky smooth textile. The merino wool from Wyoming farmer fields is pressed between two layers of cotton battings and complete with additional layer of prewashed 100% cotton that has been designed for quilting.
In all, this makes total of five layers with merino wool being in the center of all layers.
True luxury - the finest and softest wool of all, Merino has been hand washed and hand fluffed.
The quilted blankets represent the hard work and labor of women all over the world, including Kazakhstan, where five-layered quilted blankets are very common and come with a rich backstory that honors the cultural history behind them. The handmade quilted blanket is completely unique and one of a kind with different patterns of blocks and some hand stitching.
